Iroha lives peacefully with her husband Aoto, a doctor. Two years ago, she lost her parents in a car accident that left her paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair.
While her husband forbids her from rehabilitation, Iroha secretly practices walking until she finally succeeds—only to overhear her husband and father-in-law revealing the truth: the accident was caused by her father-in-law, and Aoto married her only to keep an eye on her and cover up the crime.
