One day, Rosa returns home to witness her mother in a relationship with a young man. He's only two years older than her, and he's to become her new stepfather. Rosa's previously perfect life begins to unravel from that day forward. His handsome face, gentle words, and somewhat precarious smile – everything about him is chillingly unpleasant. Rosa's insults and harassment towards him intensify day by day. However, the moment she sees his tears for the first time, Rosa realizes the reason she dislikes him: because she can never have him. And Rosa has a habit of destroying things she can't have.
