The story is set in the Taisho era. Kyoko, the eldest daughter of the former noble Ichiji family, is beautiful but has a birthmark on her face, causing her to be compared to her younger sister and treated like a servant by her family. Desperate to change her fate, she heads to an arranged marriage meeting, but the man, Sakuya, is blind…?!
