Safety-Blind Field Trip

A newly appointed site supervisor treats the female heavy-equipment operator with peculiar hostility. The workers on site can clearly see what he is trying to do, and instead of siding with him, they defend the operator. In truth, she is a seasoned veteran with years of experience, highly respected by the workers and regarded as the real authority on site. Trying to earn their approval only gets the supervisor publicly shamed, which fuels his frustration and bruised pride. Humiliated, he becomes increasingly determined to drive her out. One night, when everyone leaves for a team dinner, he seizes the moment to corner her while they are alone. He pushes her against the wall and escalates into non-consensual physical contact, crossing a line he can never uncross. He believes he has regained control of the situation by force. Yet at the very moment he thinks he has “won,” the supervisor realizes something is terribly wrong…
